Wedding at Stage 6 Steiner Studios

Weddings in New York City are unlike any other in the world given the sheer diversity in both people and types of venues.  Thus, second shooting a wedding at Stage 6 Steiner Studios (Brooklyn, NY) for Ryan Brenizer was no exception.  I even had a chance to set up an impromptu photo booth during the reception in which the clever participants didn’t need the aid of silly props to create awesome booth shots.

На здоровье to Anna and Steve!

New York City Engagement Shoot: Florencia and Jae

Both Florencia and Jae were born in Brazil and will be getting married in São Paulo this November.  Unfortunately, they will be moving to the West Coast in the next few weeks and they will be sorely missed by their friends (including myself) here in New York City.  My goal was to provide them with some lasting memories of their relatively short time here in the Big Apple.  Although it was a bit chilly, which is typical in March, we all had a blast hitting some notable spots such as the High Line, Chelsea, Times Square, Grand Central Station, and yes, 5 Pointz in Long Island City.  Many thanks to my good friend Andre Lambertson who came by not only to help but also to provide some wonderful energy and humor (did I mention that Andre is a world renown photojournalist, film maker, and educator?).

Kyle Edmund’s New Line Up

I absolutely love fashion shoots.  These are some of the highlights from today’s fashion shoot with designer Kyle Edmund.  Kyle’s gown (second from top) was recently worn by Miss USA and current Miss Universe, Olivia Culpo.  All shots are straight out of the camera and unedited (with the exception of the photo in the lower left corner which is a Brenizer method bokeh panorama – 26 images).
