Coney Island Engagement Session: Danielle + Tommy
Coney Island is one of my favorite places to photograph couples as it almost always feels like they’re on a date with me tagging along taking their pictures while they’re enjoying the rides, carnival games, and having some hotdogs and cotton candy. Danielle and Tommy love Coney Island and they chose this location for portraits as it is emotionally significant to them. I got to know them better – they are both very kind, thoughtful, and fun loving. I am so happy that I’ll be their wedding photographer during their big day in October at the Liberty House. Hoboken Engagement Session: Angelina + Stacey
Both Angelina and Stacey will be getting married in October and we are really looking forward to their wedding day! I really love shooting engagement sessions for couples before their big day as it is the perfect opportunity for me to get to know the couple better. They chose the train station in Hoboken, New Jersey because the location had particular emotional relevance to Stacey. Stacey’s car was flooded during Super Storm Sandy and he was without a car for several months. When he would visit Angelina, he would take the train into Hoboken station where she would be waiting to meet him.
Hamptons Engagement Shoot
I got a special opportunity to hang out with Stephanie and Stephen in their beautiful Hamptons home and take some fun portraits as well as a few candid shots. We also spent some time at a private beach in East Hampton watching the sunset over an inlet teeming with wildlife. We also had the treat of spending some time at the local movie theater. This beautiful couple will be getting married in a few weeks and, of course, I’m so thrilled to be their wedding photographer.
Greenwich Village Engagement Session: Allie and Daniel
Engagement sessions are much more popular during the spring and autumn months mostly because of weather conditions. So how blessed were we on a Sunday in December when temperatures hit north of 70 degrees Fahrenheit? I had such a blast walking around Greenwich Village with both Allie, Daniel, and also their sweet dog Stella. We shot some fun portraits in Washington Square Park, Astor Place, and in Union Square. What I really loved about Allie and Daniel, is that they were open to doing just about any portrait that was unique and fun: including going down into the subway station. This beautiful couple will be getting married on New Year’s Eve (how cools is that?!) and I’m so thrilled to be their wedding photographer.

September is right around the corner and so is Colleen and Eric’s wedding! I absolutely love shooting portraits in Brooklyn – especially in DUMBO. Both Colleen and Eric are from Texas and they’ll be having their wedding here in New York City in autumn and I wanted leave them with some engagement portraits that will instill them with the Zeitgeist of New York City – which happens to be Brooklyn (sorry Manhattanites!).
