The Loeb Boathouse Central Park Wedding: Rosemary + Stephane

The Loeb Boathouse Central Park Wedding:  Rosemary + Stephane

It couldn’t have been a more perfect day for Rosemary and Stephane’s wedding at The Loeb Boathouse in Central Park – it was a beautiful autumn day rich with amazing light and color.  These two tennis fanatics (more on that later) got ready in their apartment in Chinatown and then made their way up Central Park but first stopped at their favorite watering hole, Top Hops Beer Shop in SoHo, for a much needed glass of IPA.

Stephane and Rosemary met while taking a tennis class at the National Tennis Center. This was also where they shared their first date and where Stephane asked Rosemary to be his wife. On the day he proposed, Stephane scheduled an hour of tennis for the two of them. He hid the ring inside a tennis ball and midway through their session, asked Rosemary to open a new can of tennis balls. While opening the new can, she noticed there was no pop to it. She also noticed an old tennis ball marked with a black X. Rosemary was so focused on the fact that they would need to call the manufacturer because of these defects, but then looked further and found a small cut in the ball with the X, and upon further inspection, a small zip lock bag inside with what looked like a prize. She realized when she opened it that it was a ring and was stunned. Stephane got down on one knee and asked her to marry him, to which she of course, said yes!

The day finally came and they fulfilled their dreams of getting having their perfect wedding at The Loeb Boathouse.

Special thanks to Josh Lynn for a great job second shooting!
