This was the last wedding that I second shot with Ryan Brenizer in 2012 – what a way to cap a season! Ryan and I had a wonderful time meeting Bill and Annie as well as their wonderful family and friends. The fun-spirited couple from Williamsburg had their wedding at The Foundry which is in my neighborhood of Long Island City. Did I mention that Bill’s quite a dancer?
Weddings in New York City are unlike any other in the world given the sheer diversity in both people and types of venues. Thus, second shooting a wedding at Stage 6 Steiner Studios (Brooklyn, NY) for Ryan Brenizer was no exception. I even had a chance to set up an impromptu photo booth during the reception in which the clever participants didn’t need the aid of silly props to create awesome booth shots.

Hurricane Schmurricane!
Another second shooter’s perspective with lead photographer Ryan Brenizer. Every wedding that I’ve shot with Ryan has had some level of drama (mostly created by Ryan himself with his crazy lighting techniques); but a looming hurricane? Dana and Ben’s wedding happened to be on the day “Super Storm” Sandy was supposed to hit the Tri-State area (but it turned out that the brunt of Sandy’s impact occurred on the evening of the day after). Even the threat of bridge and road closures didn’t deter guests (and vendors) from making the trip to show their unrelenting support for this beautiful young couple.
Congratulations!

Beautiful Beautiful Beautiful!
You guessed it – I was second shooting for Ryan Brenizer (September 16, 2012). Charlene and Vincent were incredibly sweet and they were blessed with perfect autumn weather and a cadre of amazing friends and family. To boot, they even had the insanely talented Amanda Brown (one of the finalists on “The Voice”) as one of the singers in the live band (Bud Maltin Metropolitan Music).

Second shooting for Ryan Brenizer is always a blast (x7 in October) and culminating that experience was Brian and Lindsay’s wedding at the New York Botanical Garden. A fun and lighthearted couple whose friends and family were absolutely electric on the dance floor.
beautifully done!
Wow!
